On Tuesday, December 2, at 4:00 AM PST all U.S. and European galaxies will be taken down for server maintenance and a live update.
When the update is complete, all galaxies will be live but unavailable while we complete final testing. All galaxies will be made available after that time.

SOE officially announced today the next release for the Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game, Squadrons Over Corellia. Scheduled to hit in mid-December, this one is going to be big!
This all-new set features over 250 new cards and introduces a new type of Item card, Starships. There are familiar ships like the X-wing, the Millennium Falcon, the TIE Bomber, and the KSE Firespray just to name a few, and some favorite Star Wars® characters like Han Solo, the Emperor, and Jabba the Hutt finally enter the game!
And players will love the new loot cards in Squadrons Over Corellia, including the all-new V-wing fighter!

If you're a returning Star Wars Galaxies player with an account that was recently re-activated by Sony Online Entertainment, don't forget to subscribe by November 30 to receive your very own "The Battle of Echo Base" hologram as our thanks for returning to the galaxy! The reward is available through the /claim window beginning on December 16, 2008.
Re-activated game accounts must have been inactive before September 1, 2008 to be eligible for the promotion. Please see this page for more details.
